Pride Parade in Dublin 26/06/2010

I went to shoot the colourful Pride Parade on Saturday. It was the first time I've seen the pride parade. I expected a lot more people to dressed up or in fancy dress but I did come across a few characters! I have more photos if anybody that attended the parade is interested to buy some for a small fee. Contact details on the left.

Photo blog Friday 18/06/2010 in Dalarna # 2

As I mentioned before the weather was good. We didn't get rain on Friday evening but we did see a small rainbow. There were some midgets at the lake but luckily not any mosquitoes. I'll let the photos speak for themselves as usual.

Friday 18/06/2010 in Dalarna

The below shot is from the same lake- Barke. I did test to brighten it up but prefered it moody and dark as it was shot. We were lucky with the weather that night. The light was great and the sky kept on changing. I love the boat, it added something to the foreground. The colours have faded into pastel in the sun over the years. Or perhaps somebody would actually paint their boat in subtle pastel? More photos to follow...

Nearly Midsummer in Dalarna, Sweden

I went to my sister's wedding in Smedjebacken, Sweden on the weekend. The weather was quite up and down with rain, thunderstorm but also sunshine. There are plenty of lakes there and below is one shot from Friday night at Barke lake.

Japanese Gardens in Kildare

Went on a day trip to the Irish National Stud in Kildare. The most interesting part was the Japanese gardens. We were't so lucky with the weather but the colours were vibrant after the numerous showers...

Lovely morning in Botanic Gardens

I went for a stroll in Botanic Gardens on Saturday morning. It was the last nice day for now. Since that we've just had rain, rain and rain. It was peaceful and relaxing to walk around there. I think I would be there every day if I lived closer. Here are a couple of photos to day dream to.
